Our Story

Pehnawa by SS was born from a shared passion for Indian textiles and a desire to bring exquisite traditional and contemporary wear to every woman.

Founded by Sandhya Jain and Shalini Sottany, the brand brings together over 20 years of combined experience in the fashion industry. Sandhya holds a degree in Fashion Design and has spent her career mastering the art of Indian couture — from bridal lehengas to modern party wear. Shalini complements this with her sharp eye for trends and deep understanding of what today's woman wants to wear.

Together, they curate and handcraft clothing that celebrates the rich heritage of Indian craftsmanship while staying relevant to modern sensibilities — whether it's a grand bridal lehenga, a stunning party wear gown for a cocktail evening, or a comfortable everyday kurti.
